1. Do you wear your amplification (hearing aids/Cochlear implant/FM) during the summer? Why or why not?

2. How do you overcome the challenges of swimming (lessons or for fun) without your amplification?

3. Do you tell people you meet over the summer (at camp, perhaps) that you have a hearing loss?

Whatcha doin' this summer?

Now that we have all started the countdown to the last day of school, it is time to be thinking about what we are going to do once school's out for summer.
What are your summer plans? Lounge around and sleep in everyday? Go on a family vacation? Go on a trip with a group? Is anyone going to camp? Are you involved in summer extracurricular activities (baseball, softball, golf, etc)?

Do you get teased?

Someone posted this on the blog and I thought it would be a good post- please add to the discussion:) "I get teased every day and I'm sick of it. Do any of you have any advise to help me? Do any of you get teased?"

Pictures

When you have your picture taken at school, do you keep your hearing aid/cochlear implant on or do you take it off? If you leave it on, do you try to hide it with your hair so it cannot be seen in the picture?
What about on a daily basis? Do you keep your amplification covered or are you okay with people seeing it?
